What a Board Member Does

Provide strategic direction and oversight

Attend regular board meetings

Help ensure the financial strength and integrity of the credit union

Represent the interests of fellow members

Participate in key decisions and long-term planning
No prior board experience required—just a willingness to learn and serve.

Time Commitment
​

One monthly evening board meeting (1–2 hours) with dinner
-
Occasional committee meetings - Annual Meeting/Planning Meeting
-
Training/Travel opportunities

Who Should Apply

Members of EFCU in good standing

Individuals with a passion for community service

Experience in finance, business, or leadership is helpful but not required

Diverse backgrounds encouraged
