Our credit union is built by members, for members. We are seeking a passionate individual to serve on our Board of Directors and help guide the future of our organization. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your union and credit union community while supporting the financial well-being of fellow members.

What a Board Member Does

​

• Provide strategic direction and oversight

• Attend regular board meetings

• Help ensure the financial strength and integrity of the credit union

• Represent the interests of fellow members

• Participate in key decisions and long-term planning

No prior board experience required—just a willingness to learn and serve.

Time Commitment

​

• One monthly evening board meeting (1–2 hours) with dinner

• Occasional committee meetings - Annual Meeting/Planning Meeting

• Training/Travel opportunities 

​

Who Should Apply

​

• Members of EFCU in good standing

• Individuals with a passion for community service

• Experience in finance, business, or leadership is helpful but not required

• Diverse backgrounds encouraged
