WELCOME SMW9 MEMBERS
We are full-service credit union offering a variety of financial products exclusively to union members. You have been directed to our website to open an account in which your SMW9 vacation pay will be deposited.
To open an account online, you must have:

Your name, address, birth date and social security number

A valid government issued picture ID (driver's license, state issued ID, military ID or passport)

Verification of address if your address is incorrect on your government issued ID (utility bill, car registration, lease agreement, etc.)

All EFCU members must keep a minimum balance of $25.00 in their Shares/Savings account. This will be placed on hold in your account after your first deposit. When applying to open your account, please be sure to click on the SMW9 button when asked how you would like to fund the account.

APPLY FOR YOUR ACCOUNT ONLINE
To open your account securely online please click on the button below and fill out the required information. Once the application is submitted and approved, you will be emailed your account forms to sign via eDocs. These must be signed before your account number can be provided.
Only a Shares/Savings account is required, but you will also have the option to open a Share Draft/Checking account. After the account is open, we will send out a new account packet and provide your account number to SMW9 for your vacation pay deposit.
Once you are a member, you will also have access to all our services, including our numerous loan products, such as auto loans, Visa Credit Cards and Home Equity Line of Credit loans. You will also be able to register for home or mobile banking, which an be used to check balances, transfer funds and deposit checks remotely. Search "Electrical Federal Credit Union" in your app store and download our app.
